Make Your Body Your Machine!

What is TRX Suspension Training and what are the benefits?

TRX Suspension Training is a new approach to exercise that leverages one’s own body weight and the force of gravity and is designed to develop strength, balance, flexibility, endurance, coordination and core stability all simultaneously. The system utilizes a system of straps, buckles and grips (called a “suspension trainer”) that allows the user to work against their own body weight. TRX training engages the core on every exercise in addition to providing some cardio fitness in every single workout.

Who is TRX Suspension Training for?

The hundreds of exercises that can be performed on the TRX make it a versatile and effective exercise solution regardless of a participant’s age, fitness level or limitations. All of the exercises performed on the TRX can be modified to meet the needs of the individual participant.
Suspension training is utilized throughout all branches of our armed forces, sports teams from high school up to the pros, as well as Hollywood celebrities and soccer moms. Senior wellness programs have turned to the TRX as a solution because the benefits to this form of training enable seniors to move freely without fear of falling. Physical therapists, sports medicine clinics and chiropractors are all using the TRX to rehabilitate their patients. The program is also perfect for those who are stuck at a constant fitness level and would like to move beyond their current plateau to reach desired goals.
